Mos Valuable Player First Annual MUSIC FESTIVAL

Mos Valuable Player First Annual MUSIC FESTIVAL on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 8p.m. - 2a.m. in Saint Louis at the Historic Concert Venue called The Way Out Club.. The MVP Underground MUSIC FESTIVAL will feature the talents of global Radio personalities and DJs and some of the most phenomenal independent artists in the surrounding areas as well as celebrating seven years of programming on umslradio.com. It is a small fee to enter and open to all music lovers around the Midwest region. We are expecting 250+ (estimated) in attendance at this indoor and outdoor event. The MVP Underground FESTIVAL will allow independent artists, including area university's independent artists, a chance to showcase their musical talent in a positive community setting in front of radio personnel to network with. We also utilize this event as a teaching component for the upcoming artists to learn the ins and outs of get radio spins on both commercial and internet radio broadcasting. . Auditions for participants will be held on Tuesday, August 30th, 2016 from 10 p.m. as well as registering via email at missourifleetdjs@gmail.com until August 15th, 2016. Participants must bring their clean and edited music as a MP3 file and pay the $10 audition fee per person. Mos Valuable Player Radio is a student ran internet-based radio station where both locate artists and DJs learn about the radio broadcasting and how to run a radio show. We provide on-the-job training for students and volunteers including artists who are interested in the field of radio broadcasting. Students and Artists are given access to state of the art equipment where they learn programming, production, sales, marketing, photography, videography, music and media design. In addition, they receive one on one training with experienced DJs. Contributions from the MVP Underground Festival will allow the radio show to acquire much needed equipment and upgrade computer application to be used in the a fully operating office that will allow us to train and educate students in the Broadcasting and Entertainment field.
